Sorry about the hat but it acts the same way for me.
Updated the software using the web interface. refresheshed each page before clicking and I still can't get past the subs selection screen.
Is always showing Bulgarian and if i change it and click play it selects Bulgarian again.

Ok lets make sure you have latest fix:

Code:
cd blissflixx
git pull

Restart server. If it still does not work:

Code:
cd blissflixx/html/pages

Now:
Code:
cat moviesubs.html

This last few lines of the file should be:
Code:
  play() {
     title = self.f_title.value
     year = self.f_year.value
     lang = self.f_lang.value
     subs = {'title':title, 'year':year, 'lang':lang}
     playerStore.playWithSubs(self.url, title, subs, function(err) {
       if (err) return Utils.showError(err)
       window.history.back()
     })
   }
 </script>
</moviesubs>

I did all the check and everything was up to date but after restarting the server the subs started workind - its strange as I restarted the server couple of times before complaining its not working ... thus I am very happy. Will test tonight when I get home.

Thank you for the great software and supoprt!

I have tested the Bulgarian sub they work great. They are the right size, the transparent gray background is awesome - they are always readable.

Some ideas
- it will be better if the subs are centered
- some subs are not timed properly, an option to adjust the subs timing or select custom subs via url or file
- add subs to "What to Play?" screen
- an option in settings to always play subs if available and preferred language

Great job with the subs!

>> it will be better if the subs are centered

OK easy change to make.

>> some subs are not timed properly, an option to adjust the subs timing or select custom subs via url or file

Changing the timing of the subs is coming next together with fast forward/rewind. Let's see if this is enough or if I need to add a custom subs option.

>> - add subs to "What to Play?" screen

Yes I will need to do this.

>> - an option in settings to always play subs if available and preferred language

And this will get done (at some point)

Thanks for these great suggestions.

I have an issue. It says it can't find the subtitles. I've tried 2 movies thusfar, going to try more.

Also, I cannot pause movies using my keyboard.

EDIT:

Yup I tried some more and the subtitles all don't work Sad

The site from which subtitles are downloaded:

http://www.opensubtitles.org/

Seems to be having server issues for the past few days - lots of 500 internal server errors. So hopefully they will fix the site soon.

>>Also, I cannot pause movies using my keyboard.

Is this using the spacebar or letter 'p'? Also do other keys work?

Neither p nor the spacebar work. Other keys I haven't tried yet.
