If you have a keyboard connected to the PI you should be able to use these:

Key bindings
Key Action
1 Increase Speed
2 Decrease Speed
j Previous Audio stream
k Next Audio stream
i Previous Chapter
o Next Chapter
n Previous Subtitle stream
m Next Subtitle stream
s Toggle subtitles
q Exit OMXPlayer
Space or p Pause/Resume
- Decrease Volume
+ Increase Volume
Left Seek -30
Right Seek +30
Down Seek -600
Up Seek +600

Haven't tested this yet ... will test and comment later - I found this info here http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=13328
They are not mouse controls but if they work you won't have to keep your laptop open.
I am using a tablet or a phone to control blissflixx and it works great.
